We welcome your calls when you have a claim to report. We can help you report your claim to your insurance carrier and provide information on the claims process. That said, sometimes it’s preferable to call the company’s claim “hotline” directly. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They can get much of the information they need from you right away without having to first call you back by phone. They can advise you immediately on what steps you are authorized to take. This can be a good option if out of the area or at unusual hours.

Automobile Accidents

Do NOT admit you are at fault or accuse others. Such discussion is of no benefit and is best left to legal authorities and/or claims adjusters to work out. Assist anyone who is injured. Contact the appropriate police and/or emergency authorities. Do not move vehicles until police arrive unless blocking traffic flow. Exchange information with the other driver(s) such as name, address, phone, vehicle, and insurance. Report it to us or your insurance company immediately or as soon as possible. Generally, you may be asked to get a repair estimate from the repair garage of your choice. Do not authorize any work until Okayed by the insurance adjuster.

Property Loss

You are required to take steps to temporarily protect the property from any further damage. Report the damage to us or your insurance company immediately or as soon as possible. In many cases, you will need to get a repair estimate from the contractor of your choice. If you are capable and desire to make your own repairs, that can be worked out with the adjuster. An adjuster will advise you of the next steps to take.
