Contact the appropriate police and/or emergency authorities. Do not move vehicles until police arrive unless blocking traffic flow. Exchange information with the other driver(s) such as name, address, phone, vehicle, and insurance. Report it to us or your insurance company immediately or as soon as possible. You are required to take steps to temporarily protect property from any further damage. Report the damage to us or your insurance company immediately or as soon as possible. In many cases, you will need to get a repair estimate from the contractor of your choice. If you are capable and desire to make your own repairs, that can be worked out with the adjuster. An adjuster will advise you of next steps to take.
